Pocket Lint
Pocket Lint was created by Izaiha Hlaisi in the winter of 2014, during a period when he was grounded for several months. At fourteen, stuck in his room and looking for an outlet, he began sketching clothing designs—T-shirts, socks, jackets, and more. With no money and no resources to produce them, he realized the only thing in his pockets was lint, sparking the name Pocket Lint. The brand became a symbol of creating something meaningful despite having nothing.
As Hlaisi grew older, he developed a clearer purpose behind the brand. Observing his generation’s fixation on digital validation—likes, followers, and streaks—he wanted Pocket Lint to represent a different mindset. Its mission, “Do Without, Live Without, Exist Without,” encourages people to invest in themselves, value real life over digital metrics, and find meaning beyond materialism.
Through its art, clothing, and music, Pocket Lint aims to help individuals rethink their perspectives and appreciate life as it truly is. Hlaisi hopes the brand inspires people to create boldly, live intentionally, and build memories rooted in reality—not just through a screen.
